Hi, In MS Word I right button click a word to look up in the dictionary and
th eside bar pops up and Encarta Dictionary says "This service could not be
searched because you are not connected to the Internet. Please connect and
try again." However, I am on the Internet and I can seem to find a way to
make Word realize I am connected.

I'm experiencing the same problem and I can't find the answer to it. But is
not only word that gives me the message that im not connected, but im unable
to run other applicaitons such as VPN client, Amazon MP3 downloader, STATA
online help. All them gives me the error than Im not connected. I checked the
settings of my firewall and it seems that it not the problem. Unless Im
missing something in the settings of the firewall.
