your Normal template (the Word template on which all
documents are based).

First, open your normal template in Word (I'd close other
documents first, but that's just me). Click "Open," and
at the bottom of the window, where it says "files of
type," click the arrow and select "document templates
(*.dot)" At the top of the same Open screen, it
says "Look in." Navigate to where your Normal.dot
template is (usually C:\Documents and Settings\your user
name\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates). Open the
Normal template. If you see your words splashed all over
the place, delete them, and save the file. NOTE: if you
can't find your normal template, you'll need to make sure
that you can see hidden files, since Application Data is
such a file.

Good luck, and stop typing that garbage in your normal
template. What would your parents think?
