Default Converting Word to Word Perfect

I sent a .doc (Word 2003) file to a friend who only has Word Perfect. She
cannot open the file. Can I save the file as something else so that she can
open it? Help.

You can save the document in Word 2003 as WordPerfect. You may need to
install the WordPerfect import filter.
