Default Word 2003 Menu items

I accidentally deleted "Tools" from the main menu bar. How do I get it back?
Most answers on Word itself tell you to use the Tools menu, but of course I
can't do that as it isn't there

Right-click any toolbar and choose Customize from the context menu. You
should then be able to drag the Tools menu back to the menu bar.

I think I tried that, by clicking on Tools in the Categories column, but it
won't drag. I can drag anything out of the Commands column, but I can't drag
a category. Is that what you meant, or have I misunderstood.

In the Customize dialog box, there is a category for "Built-in Menus" where
you will find the Tools menu. Just drag the whole menu back to the menu bar.
