Default [Field Codes] repeating values/text

I'm currently using the field code shown below, which I understand
doesn't nothing but allows me to F11 across the fields.

{MACROBUTTON DoFieldClick [Customer name]}

I would like to mirror the data entered into [Customer name] to show
again for "Dear Mr/Mrs. ..."

Is this possible to do?

There are several different ways to accomplish this. See
http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Repeating_Data.htm.

If you are using Word 2007, and you don't need backward compatibility, you
have yet another option: mapped content controls. See
http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Mapped_Content_Control.htm.
