Shadowed lines
When I open a new document in print layout the entire printing area has
shadowed lines, how do I turn this feature off. It's not underlines. This appears to be some type of page formatting. |

In Word 2003 and earlier, display the Drawing toolbar, click the Draw button at the left end, choose Grid, and uncheck the option "Display gridlines on screen". In Word 2007, click the View tab of the ribbon and uncheck the Gridlines box in the Show/Hide group. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |
