Default delete formatparagraph macro

Somehow I accidentally type the formatparagraph macro constantly. Extremely
annoying. Either, what is this stupid macro, better yet, how do I delete it
when the box to delete macros is grayed out and the instructions don't work?
totally lame. Thanks, Patti

Can you explain what this macro does, and what happens it when you trigger
it? I can't picture what you are talking about at all, and in fact, it's
impossible to accidentally type a macro, so something about the way you are
explaining this does not make sense.

And what version of Word are you using?

How can you tell a macro (or maybe a Word command) is run? Is it
listed as an Undo entry on the Edit menu? What does it say, exactly?

If you see "Undo Paragraph Formatting" on the Edit menu, a
modification has been made to the paragraph formatting of some
paragraph(s).

One possibility is that you've inadvertently pressed Ctrl+Q (perhaps
when you meant to press Shift+Q), which invokes the ResetPara command.
That command removes direct paragraph formatting from selected
paragraphs, that is, any Paragraph formatting applied via
FormatParagraph (or borders applied to a paragraph via FormatBorders
and Shading, or paragraph/outline numbering), and restores the
formatting of the underlying paragraph style.
