Default Where are MS Office Professional 2007 (Upgraded from 2003) Located

In my 2003 Office Professional I moved my Normal.dot template to My Word
Templates folder. I resently purchased the new 2007 Office Professional.
It's 'New' documents open in a font & font size I don't like. I wanted to
change the Normal.dot template to open in a font & font size I like, but I
can't find the place it is stored. I can find my old Normal.dot, but not the
new ones. Please give me an address for this such as My Documents/MS
Office/etc. Also, I don't particularly like the extra space added between
the lines. I found an answer for this, but don't quite understand how to do
this. Could this be simplified in a 'step 1, step 2, etc.' way that senior
citizens who are not computer litterate can understand?

Thanks for any and all help!

Word 2007 uses new file types. Normal.dotm is the template and you may need to turn on the ability to see hidden files in Windows
to locate it.

(.dotM) is 'macro/Active Content enabled' template.
(.dotX) is 'Active Content eXcluded' template
