Vertical placement of a footnote
I want to decrease the space after my footnote, but I can't seem to make it
any lower even though there is plenty of white space after it. |

Vertical placement of a footnote
Hi Scott
You can change the bottom margin using File Page Setup. All other things being equal, the bottom-most footnote line will be just above the bottom margin. To see what's going on, do Tools Options View and tick "Text boundaries". For more detailed information about the true workings of page lengths see Toward a more uniform page length in Word http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/BottomLine.htm Hope this helps. Shauna Kelly.
