Default Spellcheck help

Using Word 2000, with MS XP2 (both US versions), and writing in both English
and Brazilian portuguese, How can I spellcheck in Portuguese? Only the
English dictionnary is operating.

First you probably need to buy the proofing tools CD. Once the Brazilian
Portuguese proofing tools are installed, you need to tag the language as
Brazilian Portuguese via select text, then Tools | Language.

I believe MS is no longer selling the Word 2000 proofing tools CD--ask
google or check ebay.
