Excel formula doesn't work in Word Table
I need to test multiple calculations in table cells in order to determine the
grade(LOW/MEDIUM/HIGH) i.e. return in strings. The below formula works fine in Excel. Any advice it can be put in use in Word table would be appreciate. Please help! =IF(IF(IF(D19=16,"Low",IF(E19=6,"Low",IF(SUM(E9: E13)3,"Low",IF(SUM(E14:E18)3,"Low","Medium"))))= "Medium",IF(D93,"Low",IF(D103,"Low",IF(D113,"Lo w",IF(D123,"Low",IF(D133,"Low","Medium"))))))="M edium",IF(D20=31,"High","Medium"),"Low") |

Excel formula doesn't work in Word Table
Hi Kenny,
With Word, the formula syntax for string testing is different from what you use in Excel. For more details, check out my Word Field Maths 'tutorial', at: http://www.wopr.com/cgi-bin/w3t/show...?Number=365442 or http://www.gmayor.com/downloads.htm#Third_party -- Cheers macropod [MVP - Microsoft Word] "KennyH" wrote in message ...
