Default Check box color

New check boxes I add to a document show up brown in final document view.
Brown is the current color of all the edited data in the show markup. How do
I make these new check boxes go back to black? Using format color like you do
with text does not work.

Default Check box color

Have you tried turning off Track Changes and using Accept All Changes in
Document?
