Default e With a slash

When working in word i get a little e with a slash above it when i hit the
comma or question mark or semi colon button. Why is it doing this and how can
i fix it???

What language keyboard are you using? On the task bar, just to the left of
the system tray, do you have something with little letters, such as FR, ES,
EN, or something like that? If so, click it and see it gives you a choice of
languages. It's possible that one of your installed languages also has a
foreign keyboard layout associated with it.

It's also possible that your keyboard is dying. If it's not a language
problem... try using a different keyboard.
