Default Split table vertically

Is it possible to have 2 tables side by side on one page?

Default Split table vertically

If you want two tables side by side, one of them must be wrapped. To
accomplish this, you can drag the table handle (which displays in the upper
left corner as you rest the mouse pointer on a table) to the desired
location.

Alternatively, you can fake it by creating a larger table and then removing
the borders for one column of the table; that way, a single table will look
like two tables when the document is printed. (This method was the best that
you could do for Word 97 and earlier, besides placing one of the tables in a
frame.)

Or, you can use Newspaper columns (Format Columns...)... which is probably
the easiest for this puprpose.
