Default Display dynamically updated text (non-editable) from content in do

Is there a way to display content within a MS Word document which is a
dynamic (but non-editable) linked copy of content within the same document?
Bookmark -hyperlinking does not seem to be the answer as the hyperlinked part
does not "mirror" the content.

e.g. a table cell containing a check box and text such as " Approved" at
the begining of a document - which is linked / updated from a table cell at
another location within the document with a check box and text " Approved".

Thanks in advance!
