Resetting margins is changing other margins
I have a user of Word 2000 who would like her document margins to be 1" on
all sides. She made changes in Page Setup to the right and left margins, but Word wants to make her bottom margin 2.67". If she changes that back to 1", she gets a message stating that her margins are set outside the printable area. If she chooses "Fix" and the bottom margin returns to 2.67". If she chooses "Ignore" the document will look right on the page, but won't print the bottom 2.67". Any assistance would be appreciated. |

Resetting margins is changing other margins
The 2.67" margin is symptomatic of a problem with the printer drivers of
certain HP LaserJets. Many users have reported that the drivers at http://www.hp.com/pond/ljbeta/index.html solve this problem. -- Suzanne S.
