Prevent Highlighting of Editable Fields in Protected Table
I have a protected document that has a few editable cells in a table. When I
open the file, those fields are highlighted. I know how to turn them off after opening the file but how can I have highlighting be off automatically when I open the document? I'm using Word 2003 and I keep the file read only so I don't mistakenly save over the blank one. |

I'm guessing you're referring to the "Highlight the regions I can edit"

Prevent Highlighting of Editable Fields in Protected Table
I would save the document as a template - that way you are not going to
write over it when you create new documents from it. I tried this but unfortunately it didn't work. I still have yellow boxes

The form field shading that Graham is referring to is a different thing.

I see. He meant the shading of FORM FIELDS that can be toggled from the
