Default first letter cap ??

My 84 year young mother-in-law has started using Word 2k.
When she types a letter the first letter of each sentence is auto capitalize
and she doesn't want this.
I take it there is a setting for this but can't find it.

Suggestions,

L.

Tell your mother-in-law to click the Tools menu, select AutoCorrect from the
dropdown, and clear the checkbox labeled "Capitalize first letter of
sentences". Then click OK, and the behavior will stop.

There are lots of other settings in that dialog that many people dislike.
Read the page at http://word.mvps.org/faqs/formatting/TameAutoFormat.htm for
a discussion of what to turn off.

Tools | AutoCorrect: "Capitalize first letter of sentences." But I'll bet
the reason your MIL objects is that she's pressing Enter at the end of every
line. Send her to
