Default how can I reset Word back to the factory defaults

I can't get word documents from the server without their coming up as read
only. I didn't have problem before but may have changed my settings when
linking up to local network. Can I reset word to factory settings?

Default how can I reset Word back to the factory defaults

Check whether you have read only access or full read/write access to that
folder on the server?
