Use Insert | Symbol. You'll find the symbol among the mathematical
operators in a Unicode font such as Arial Unicode MS.

Alternatively, you can use the Equation Editor. To run the Equation
Editor, choose Insert | Object. If it isn't listed, see the following
KB article:

Equation Editor is not available in the "Insert Object Type" list

In Word, click on Insert | Symbol | Font: Symbol | Character
code: 92 | Insert | Close.
