When I try to save a file (in Microsoft Word Office 2000) to a CD the error
message is " Cannot save E:\my own recipes word.doc Folder is marked as
read only.

How did it get read only and how do I change it?

Do not work on floppies or CDs from within Word. Period. You will lose your
work, probably when it hurts the most.

Save it to your HD and copy it to the CD using our CD-burning software.
