How do I adjust scrolling speed in a Word document?
Hi
You need to use the Control Panel. Depending on your version of Windows, and how it is set up, do something like Start Settings Control Panel Mouse. That will show you all the possible settings you can change. However, if your problem is that (a) you have Word 2000 or before and (b) your scrolling gets out of control, then there's no solution. This problem was fixed in later versions of Word. The standard workaround is to click where you want the selection to start, use the mouse wheel to scroll until you see where you want the selection to end, hold down the Shift key then click to mark the end of the selection. Hope this helps. Shauna Kelly. Microsoft MVP. http://www.shaunakelly.com/word "bill707" wrote in message ... Plain document, no graphics |
