Default How do I get Word to start without it creating a blank document?

I almost never need a blank document, as we have the vast majority of our
forms in templates etc. It may be a small pain to have to close the blank
document everytime I open Word, but it is still a pain. Is there a way to
change this?

Add the \n switch to the shortcut used to start Word, and it will open
without a blank document. See €śWD: Word Startup (Command-Line) Switches and
Their Purpose€ť at http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=210565

Hi ?B?TmVlZHMgSGVscA==?=,

forms in templates etc. It may be a small pain to have to close the blank

If you're using a shortcut (a Word icon) to start Word, then you can make a
change to the command line it's executing. Right-click the shortcut, choose
Properties. In the "Target" box press End to get to the end of the path
information to winword.exe. Make sure there's a space after winword.exe then
type: /n

Word should start without any document being open.
