Default Word 2003 squashing text to left margin

We have two customers who report that , occassionally, Word 2003 will squash
lines of text in a document up against the left margin. The effect is that
all the letters appear to be typed over the top of each other. This not only
displays on the screen but also prints this way. Opening and closing the
document a few times will cause the text to display properly across the page.

Both sites are running Windows XP Pro SP2.

Does anyone have any advice on this please?

Regards,
Martin

Default Word 2003 squashing text to left margin

I have same occasional problem on a few users. Changing from network printer
to local IP printer & PCL driver has corrected some, but still occasional
problem. Also have a few users with occasional problem that in Word2003 the
lower 1/3 of page text does not display in the screen, though it does print
correctly. PCs are 500Mg +1 Gig, XP SP1 & SP2, Office2003 SP1.

Your assistance to resolve greatly appreciated. Thank you.
