Word Save As?
I have a odd situation with what seems to be the floppy drive and the default
save location. First the default folder location for saving is the My Document folder, so after saving a file to a floppy and closing out Word, when reopening Word it will not open until a floppy is in the drive (the floppy drive is continuously searching). Is this by function or some kind of glitch or setting that can be changed to leave the default folder location to the My Documents folder regardless of where the file was saved last? Thanks, Ronnie |

Word Save As?
As others, I'm sure, will tell you, you should not be saving directly to a
floppy in the first place, as this is courting disaster. If you insist on doing so, you must switch the default drive back to the HD before removing the disk. -- Suzanne S.
