Word doesn't delete tmp files after shutdown. Help!
Hi,
I have no idea what is going on, but I have plenty of tmp files hidden in my documents and desktop. When I open a doc file the word generates the wrl....tmp file directly to the same folder and then it doesn't delete it when I close word. Any ideas? No malware, spyware, viruses (Adawre + spybot + Norton Antivirus). This started couple of weeks ago. Maybe after some automatic update for windows / Service pack for office? |

I don't know the cause, but you can find a cleanup batch file at http://www.gmayor.com/what_to_do_when_word_crashes.htm. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org |
