Default moving pages

Hello --

is there any way to move pages around in MS word almost like you can move
slides in powerpoint by viewing a thumbnail and just dragging and dropping?

Nope. Copy and paste.

Assuming there is some logical formatting to your document, Outline View
would do the equivalent.
