Hi,
I have been asked if it's possible to have guidelines appear in our Reports template which will disappear as soon as the user starts typing. E.g. Under a heading SUMMARY could be some text to describe the details required in a summary. As soon as the user starts typing the summary the guidleines are replaced with the information the user types. Is there some way this could be achieved? Thanks, John |

I have tried putting several lines of instructions in the display text and
get an error "DisplayText cannot span more than one Line!" Is this a limitation of this method? John "Greg" wrote in message oups.com... You might try a macrobutton field. See: http://www.gmayor.com/Macrobutton.htm |

I included the Instructions text and the MacroButton in a bookmark and then
had the macro delete the bookmark on a single click of the field. Works just like I wanted. Thanks for your help. John "Greg Maxey" wrote in message ... Yes unfortunately it is.
