Watermark/Background
I am very confused about this one ...
I have an announcement that I put together, that looks "great on paper". I somehow got this perfect image in the background - with my text for the announcement on top of it. Now, I want to use the image as a background in an email I want to send out - but for some reason I can't "get to" the image. I did a 'save as', and deleted all the text - just leaving the image. But I just cannot select it. I also tried saving it as a htm/html - but when I pull it up - Word is just blank until I switch views from 'Web Layout' to 'Print Layout'. Once in 'Print Layout' - it will display - but I still cannot "get to" the image. I am very confused/frustrated over this one ??? |

Watermark/Background
Probably the image is "anchored" in the header
(http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/AnchorToHeader.htm), which means you have to open the header pane in order to be able to select the image. The image isn't visible in Web Layout view because web pages don't have any headers or footers. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. brewster56 wrote: I am very confused about this one ...
