Default How do I insert the fiename path into the footer of a document.

In WP you can insert the filename path on documents that are printed out so
that anyone can find them on the system. Is there such a thing for WORD?

Open the footer and click INSERT on the menu and select FIELD. Locate the
FileName field, and if you're using Word 2003 click the SHOW PATH checkbox to
display the path. Earlier versions of Word used switches.

More easily, when the cursor is in the footer, look at the Header/Footer
toolbar. Click the "Insert AutoText" button at the left end of the toolbar
and choose the "Filename and path" item. This inserts the FileName field
with the \p switch (which is exactly what you get from the Insert Field
dialog when the Show Path box is checked).

If you want the filename in the document header or footer, select the
"Filename and path" entry from the AutoText menu on the Header and Footer
toolbar. To insert it in the body of the document use Insert | AutoText |
Header/Footer | Filename and path.
