Word and Temp Files
Users are opening word documents on a server and word is creating the
appropriate temp files. Because the users don't have delete rights on the file share, the temp files are not removed when they close the document. Is there anyway short of giving them delete rights to remedy this? Is the temp file create location configurable in any way? Thanks for your help Dan |

It sounds like something else is at work there. Pop` |

It's an over-configured network. If the configuration is fixed so that users can do their normal jobs, the problem will go away. It's a constant battle with corporate IT teams who like to lock down everything so tightly that nobody can get any work done. Dan |

Dan Good catch Dan; I stand corrected as that would certainly account for it. Pop` |
