how do I use the reverse, flip, mirror option in the printer setup
I am using Word 2003 and I want to make a window decal. I found that it is
like using the set up for ironing on t-shirt transfer paper by selecting flip, mirror, reverse or back print on the printer setup. Where would I find that option in my printer setup? |

Not all printers will have such a setting, but most inkjets will. For my HP
DeskJet 6122, there is a "Mirror Image" check box on the Setup tab of Printing Defaults, which is the portion of the printer Properties that appears if I click Properties in the Print dialog in Word. I could have sworn there was a similar setting in the Properties of my DeskJet 820cse, but I can't seem to find it. -- Suzanne S. If your printer has that function it will be available from its properties.
If not, see http://www.gmayor.com/rotate_text.htm -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org lucia wrote: I am using Word 2003 and I want to make a window decal. Each printer manufacturer has a different idea of how to do this. My
two Canon printers (S530D and iP4200) have a "T-Shirt transfer" choice in the Media Type dropdown on the Properties page (the one that normally says "Plain paper"). -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit.
