Default Need heading style for TOC but must stop renumbering

Hi List, I want to leave typed numbers as a heading for the TOC, but do not
want Heading to renumber and insert heading because I already have numbered
paragrpahs, but style renumbers anyway, such that 1.1 is typed but I get 1.1
1.1

Use a separate, unnumbered style as a TOC heading.

How cool. My unnumbered TOC1 and TOC2 in the Style Panel. So how do I get
more than just two TOCs, say an unnumbered TOC3 and TOC4?

Sorry, I don't understand your question. You can create as many tables of
contents as you like, but the formatting of the entries is determined by the
built-in TOC styles (TOC 1, TOC 2, and so on).

I may have misunderstood your initial question as well. Please try to
explain exactly what you are trying to accomplish.
