How do I make all the headers/footers use one reference?
I am having trouble making all of my headers and footers, be referenced to
one header and footer. I have about 83 section breaks, and because of that its a pain to change them all. I tryed to use the option that says connect to the previuos header, but it doesnt seem to be working . I wanted to use a header from the middle of my document for the reference for all of the pages, previuos to it, and forward to it. Unserstand what I am saying? Any help would be great. |

You can't go from the middle. It will *only* do "same as previous", *not*
"same as next". So if you want them all the same, you need to set up the first one, then set all the succeeding headers/footers as "link to previous". (what version are you using? They changed the terminology at some point). There is probably a simple macro you can run that will link all headers--however, if you use the "next section" button on the header/footer toolbar, it's faster than you think to click all the buttons.
