The formatting changes (i.e., bullets, headings) when exchanging files
between Word users (Versions XP, 2003, and 2000). Is there anyway to retain these settings within the file itself and not depend on the user's formating options? |

Hi ?B?Y2Fyc29u?=,
The formatting changes (i.e., bullets, headings) when exchanging files between Word users (Versions XP, 2003, and 2000). Is there anyway to retain these settings within the file itself and not depend on the user's formating options? First thing to check is whether the "update styles automatically" checkbox is activated in Tools/Templates and Addins. If it is, turn it off and things should settle down...
