Carriage return in Word2003
Using a paragraph style "Body text" which has a margin of 1" and formatted
for a following paragraph style of "Body text". When typing without an "Enter", style is maintained. When I want to start a new paragraph and hit "Enter" (carriage return), a new style is created: "Body text+Indent: Left 0", Right 0". The margin goes to the left border rather than indented 1". |

Haven't encountered this one before, but the style name "Body text + ...." indicates this isn't really a style, but Word keeping "track of formatting". If this happens when you hit Return, then my first guess would be to check all AutoFormatAsYouType options (well, deselect them all for a start). Any better?
