Default Track Changes don't go away

After accepting changes, saving, closing and reopening the doc, previous
revisions show up when a new change is made. Word 2002

G'day "waldorf" ,

After doing an accept all, Maggie the document - copy and paste
everything except the last paragraph mark in each section to a new
document. There will be code support for this on the MVP site shortly
as I have submitted the article for consideration.

Steve,
thanks for your response. i have already tried this, track changes still
come back.
usually it is paragraph numbering that can be traced to previous revisions.

G'day "waldorf" ,

Mate, sounds to me like you need to look at your style definitions.
Manually revising out numbers will see them auto-magically re-appear
later because the style is still set to numbered. You need to apply a
non-numbered style.
