Default How do I keep system from crashing when changing line spacing

Every time I try to change the line spacing in a Word document an error
message pops up and the program shuts down. Also there seems to be some
features missing. The backgrund color of a document does not show up, but if
I open the file on a different computer with word everything seems to work.

Hi rft63,

In Word versions 2000 and later, there's a 'Detect and Repair' function
available from the help menu. Have you tried that?

Cheers
