Numbering Paragraphs and Lines
I'm using Word 2007.
I'd like to number paragraphs and lines in text for quick reference when discussing the text with others (ex.: "see paragraph 6, line 8") Is this possible? |

Numbering Paragraphs and Lines
I've done this several times in Excel. It works really well, but in Word a
little more difficult. One thing you could try is to create a long and very narrow text box in the left margin and insert the paragraph/lines number in the text box. You may want to remove the border from the textbox and all you would see are the numbers. "NicoleS" wrote: I'm using Word 2007. Numbering Paragraphs and Lines
You can turn on Line numbering by clicking on Line Numbers in the Page Setup
section of the Page Layout dialog. Note however, that if different users are using different printers, the document layout may change as it can be affected by the printer's properties. -- Hope this helps.
