How do I set up irregular margins for Christmas stationery? By "Stationery" I
mean the kind that has a scene in the background with an irregular white
space in the middle for printing.

Start with margins that approximate the greatest extent available. Then add
text boxes or AutoShapes around the edge to approximate the shape of the art
on the paper. These shapes, which can be anchored to the header, should be
given No Line and White or No Fill, with Tight wrapping. It will be a trial
and error process, but if you can scan the paper and insert it temporarily
as a background, this would assist you in placement of the shapes.

The alternative is to insert the background temporarily and use indents and
line breaks to force the text into the required shape, but this will be much
more difficult if the text has to be edited and reflows.
