Automatically date and time update
I have inserted a date into my document and checked the box so that when I
open that document in the future it will redate with the current date. It is not working; when I open the document at a later date it is retaining the original date. Why? -- Jo Newall |

Automatically date and time update
Press ALT+F9. Does the date now display as a {DATE} (or TIME) field? If not
you have inserted the date as text. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Jo Newall wrote: I have inserted a date into my document and checked the box so that when I open that document in the future it will redate with the current date.
