Using formulas in Word 2007 tables
I am a old Wordperfect (WP) user trying to convert to Word 2007 and have many
docs with tables. In WP, table fomulas can be entered through a simple formula toolbar with a table view. Am I missing something, is there table formula toolbar mechanism and a similar type function in Word 2007 to allow ease formula entry in tables? |

When the cursor is in a table, the Table Tools tab appears at the right end of the ribbon. Under that, click the Layout sub-tab. In the Data group at the far right, click the Formula button to open a small dialog where you can enter the formula. The available functions are listed in a dropdown box. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |
