This depends a good deal on the purpose of the addin, and whether it'll be
for sale or not.

You'll have a much better chance of getting meaningful discussion on these
questions in the word.vba (programming) groups. At least one has to be visible
in the interface you're using.

You might also want to do a Google search on msnews groups for your questions,
as they have come up before (again, in the vba groups).
