Default How can I copy a custom dictionary to a new computer

I have just had a new computer built and would like to copy my custom
dictionary to Word as I have an extensive medical vocabulary listed. Is this
possible or do I have to re-enter everything as I go again on the new
computer?

Unless you chose a different file name, it's called Custom.dic. The article
at http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/General/FilesToBackup.htm explains how to
locate it. Just copy it from the old computer to the new computer. (If the
versions of Word and/or Windows are different, use the same method to find
the location on the new computer, as it may be different.)
