wanting to transfer a doc from word 2007 to word 2003
How do I take my resume that I created in Word 2007 and transfer it to Word
2003. I sent it to an employer and they want me to resend it in the 2003 format. Do I need to download the 2003 version? Can someone please help me out with this. As you can tell I'm not too Word literate... |

Click the Office button in the upper left corner, or press Alt+F, to open the menu. Move the mouse over the Save As item (but don't click there), and another menu will appear to the right. Click on "Word 97-2003 Document". Select the folder you want and give the file a name as usual. That document will be in the right format to send out. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |

As well as sending the document in Word 2003 format, you could also impress
them by volunteering that they could make their Office versions able to open and edit Office 2007 documents if they download the free compatibility pack for Office 2000-2003 from the Microsoft Office Support Site. It will also give them all the new Office fonts too. -- Terry Farrell - MSWord MVP "Jay Freedman" wrote in message ... carriek wrote: How do I take my resume that I created in Word 2007 and transfer it to Word 2003.
