Tabbing in a numbered list
How do I make the "tab" button perform the function of increasing and
decreasing the indents in a list so that I don't have to use the mouse and click on the increase/decrease indents buttons every time? |

It always helps if you tell us what version of Word you have:
Word 2000 and earlier: On the Edit tab of Tools | Options, check the box for "Tabs and backspace set left indent." Word 2002 and 2003: On the AutoFormat As You Type tab of Tools | AutoCorrect Options, check the box for "Set left- and first-indent with tabs and backspaces." -- Suzanne S.
