Default Include a "lock fonts" in Word

It would be helpful for someone who - like me - pastes material from outside
documents into one I'm working on if I could "lock" the font so that all
pasted material is automatically converted into the font and size I'm working
on. As it stands now, I copy, paste and then highlight and convert
everything into the font I want. This seems like it would be a simple menu
item...

If you properly use styles in Word this happens automatically, the
difficulty is to paste without having the font upgrade!
http://addbalance.com/usersguide/styles.htm. Of course there remains the
problem of getting contributors to use the styles ... but with adequate
templates they usually will.
