OK, back to the drawing board. If I insert Filename field in the header of a
word 2003 dox, it doesn't update when I open or close the document???? (But
do when I preview for example).

This behavior is intentional. See

does not automatically update when you open a document in Word
2002 or Word 2003" for more information.
