Default What am I doing wrong - Word 2007 prints mini pages?

I have created a document in Word 2007 but have a problem with the size it is
printing. A full A4 sheet - which looks fine in the Print Preview - prints in
the upper quarter of the page.
I checked the printer properties in the printer and nothing has changed
there. I checked through the printer setup section from the Microsoft Office
button, print section. Made no changes as it looks fine. But I still only get
approx quarter size pages.
What am I missing please?
Thanks for any pointers, help, hints etc,
Szan_P (Australia)
(Otherwise I think the programme is great but no use if I can't print what I
create.)
