WordPerfect - copying formatting
I have found the best way to convert from WP to Word is to copy and paste the
text (and formats), and manually change the margins and other formatting that doesn't copy so well. However, there are a couple formatting things which don't copy so well that are tedious to repair manually, and I was wondering if anyone had run across these before. They a Footnotes and endnotes - all have to be manually re-inserted. Word does not recognize any numbers as footnote references above 9 if they were copied and pasted from a WP doc. There is a formatting mark that displays like the paragraph symbol when copied from WP documents, and that cannot be deleted. Any text following it, is dropped by half a line. The only solution is to cut any text following it and insert it in front of the symbol. Thanks in advance for your help. |
